Today, I leave for Istanbul! After going to a discussion about the Turkish Soccer Club in Berlin (Türkiyemspor), the owners of the fan club invited us to go to one of the practices. So, a couple of us woke up bright and early (7 am to be exact) and took the U-bahn to the soccer field. There we saw professional soccer players play. It was definitely an experience for me. The club fan manager told us that one of the soccer players was part of the national team for Germany. After kicking around the soccer ball and watching the pros play, I went back to the apartments, packed, and headed for the airport for the day. Off to Istanbul!
